As groundwater levels continue to drop in response to drought conditions, growers continue to prepare for the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA), which requires that water levels come into balance by 2040.

This free, Advanced Pumping Efficiency Program (APEP) virtual class will focus on the various technologies commonly used to continuously monitor aquifer water level changes. 

For many years, APEP has subsidized pump efficiency testing for growers in the PG&E territory, offering subsidized pump tests every two years for a pump. But with drought impacting growers more severely and increased regulatory requirements for reporting changes in water levels, growers need to plan ahead for compliance tracking in their own deep wells
