Michael Cantú is a poet from Reedley, California. An MFA candidate, he is an Andrés Montoya Scholar, and an Edward and Alberta Brown Scholar. When not writing, he is teaching high school English at the School Of Unlimited Learning, a division of the Fresno Equal Opportunity Commission. He is supported in his art by his loving wife, daughter, and extended family, all long-time inhabitants of the Central Valley. He would like to thank them and his friends for their love and support through this process. Maybe now he can get the truck in the garage running again.

Rebecca Fipps is an MFA candidate in poetry, with an emphasis in editing and publishing. She originated from Dos Palos, California, and holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Fresno State. Her work has been published in the fourth volume of the Merced River Literary Review. Rebecca’s poetry focuses on horror and delves into her definition of the ghastly beautiful and beautifully ghastly. She found her preferred genre through the horror novels, songs, and movies she consumed throughout childhood, and she beckons her reader to understand the twisted wonders of the terrifying.

Andrea Marin Contreras is a chingona Mexican writer, poet, and cat lover. She earned a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from Fresno State and is an MFA candidate in poetry, with an emphasis in editing and publishing. Andy strives to share the voices of the women warriors that came before her and pave the way for those who will come after her. Con orgullo y amor, she will rise.

A Fresno transplant originally from Modesto, California, Cristina Sandoval is a proud Chicana. She is an MFA candidate in poetry, with an emphasis in publishing and editing. The journey she has taken through Fresno State feels irreplaceable and unforgettable. She has loved, lost, cried, triumphed, and written a lot. She’d like to acknowledge her family, her friends, and her colleagues. Poetry has felt like playing a concerto in a closet, but somehow her loved ones found ample space to attend. Thank you, especially, to her parents, for giving her the entire planeta. Gracias, mis viejitos.
