Center for Irrigation Technology staff will host a free presentation tied to field irrigation system preparation and maintenance that will include demonstrations on the campus farm, a lecture and videos. Topics covered include drip line flushing, distribution uniformity testing, pump monitoring, and system implement and control checks that should be conducted each spring before the start of the new growing and irrigation season. Event is sponsored by the campus Advanced Pump Efficiency Program, and professional credit is available (NMP self-certification 1 hour, CCA CEUs 2 hours).
