SJVWP 2021 The Art of Writing Comics
Thank you for registering for the San Joaquin Valley Writing Project's 2021 The Art of Writing Comics Young Author Program.

In this one-week workshop for students entering 3rd-8th grades, participants will learn to write a memoir in comic form. Together, the group will engage in genre analysis to understand how comics are constructed before jumping in and creating their own. 
DATES & TIMES: June 28-July 2, 2021, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. via Zoom + 2-hour creative/workshop time
VIRTUAL: All participants will receive the Zoom link to participate prior to June 22

Fees: $50 per student*
